Having joined Hazlehurst & Co in January 2005 I noticed that a lot of customers would come in and ask if they stocked dog grooming products such as pet scissors, clippers etc.
Because Hazlehurst & Co is a wholesaler of hairdressing and beauty products since 1969 I discovered that this has been happening for a number of years, however due to a small work force time and effort has always been an issue so it was never taken up.
After speaking to the proprietors regarding this I managed to convince and get backing to sell a few items in there 3 shops in the South Yorkshire and Derbyshire area just to test the water and see if the dog grooming products would actually sell, they did of course with huge success!
After months of research and name changing Pedigree Groomers was formed, selling mainly via the Internet as well as in the 3 shops. Already with a large selection of professional grooming products and accessories available, along with a healthy group of satisfied customers I’m constantly looking to add to the range so that Pedigree Groomers can cater for all of your dog grooming needs…
